As you probably know, our Technical Support Team handles product testing and evaluation, field testing, repair, custom fabrication and modification as well as technical support. This English/Spanish speaking support group responds daily to phone calls and email from customers all over the world. Scott Byers - Technical Support
When a customer calls CCTV CORE for technical support, Scott's voice is often the first thing they'll hear. In his role as Technical Support Team member, Scott helps customers fix issues in the field and also performs as a repair technician. Other duties include:
- Design & Develop Surveillance Network projects
- Develop & Test OEM Security products
- IP, SDI, and Video Streaming Specialist
- Assist customers with product repair, maintenance, and configuration.
- Batch Sample QC Test & Evaluation
- Assist Product Management in assessing and qualifying new products and technology for inclusion in our product line

State of Oklahoma IP Video System Upgrade
State of Oklahoma, 5th Largest Privately Owned Casino Video Surveillance Upgrade & Convergence Project: Consultation and integration coordination of a multi-department, multi-location IP video turnkey system upgrade. This project involved R&D of technologies specific to the casino industry and long term planning and budgeting. Project covered 18 casinos across the state and required close communication with vendors and local site managers.
State of California IP-Based Enterprise Implementation
State of California, City of Beverly Hills, IP-Based Multi-Department IP-Based Video Surveillance Turnkey System: Wired and broadband implementation of surveillance camera installations in traffic, pedestrian, and public works facilities. Involved staff training, long range planning, budgeting, and sub-contractor evaluation.
State of Florida, City of St. Petersburg, Multi-Branch IP Surveillance Network
State of Florida, City of St. Petersburg, Library Services Agency: Designed and installed indoor/outdoor IP-based video surveillance equipment in one of the most technologically modern library facilities in the world, cosponsored by the Florida Dept. of Children & Families. High definition camera installation and coordination across 5 different locations in Pinellas County.
